A company built from a shared love of getting each of our families into the outdoors, Rob & Josh began AOE with the purpose of building better lighting solutions for a comfortable campsite.
Designed to be versatile, ergonomic, and durable our products are made to last for years by using high quality materials. Buy it once, enjoy it for years.
Josh is a father of three, plus the family dog. Having built a vintage camping trailer from the ground up with his wife, Josh has a knack for collaboration and efficient design. Professionally, he has been working in the furniture design business for over 20 years.
Rob is a cinematographer for films and series. With a keen understanding of how lighting can create mood, he’s always looking for the right lighting for the scene. A father of two, camping has become one of his family’s favorite ways to get out and explore.
Rob and Josh decided to create a fixture that would be compatible with with the ubiquitous campground picnic table. Built from a desire to make the table the warm gathering place of the campsite, the Lite line was designed to be kitchen lights of home. To create a place we we can gather and share out nights outdoors.
